Sayspring is now part of Adobe. Read More

More and more, the team at Sayspring has been using earcons and non-verbal audio as part of our voice design projects and prototypes. Because encoding audio for voice applications was a multistage process that required freeware downloads and too much of our time, we developed an internal tool that quickly solved this problem. It was a tiny audio converter and it worked great.

Soon enough it occurred to the team that if we were having this issue, so was every voice developer and designer out there. So we decided to make a public version of our audio file tool.

Try it out.

Simply take your mp3 or wav file and run it through our file converter and you have a file ready to insert into your voice design. We even include the SSML audio tag when your file is converted.

We hope you get as much value out of our converter that we have, and we can’t wait to see the audio design that you add to your voice prototypes, designs and applications.
